Prescribed for: severe COPD or respiratory failure where upright posture is required throughout the day; post-cardiac patients needing periodic fully upright positioning; patients who eat all meals in bed and require 90° backrest; patients with swallowing difficulties (dysphagia) where upright positioning reduces aspiration risk.
